About Surreal

Steven “Surreal” Bajanian has been playing video games since he was eight years old. His first console was the Nintendo Wii, which was followed up by an Xbox 360 and later the PlayStation 4. He started by playing FPS titles such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, but also got himself into popular games from other genres like Minecraft. According to him, he was never particularly good at video games at a young age, he only played them for enjoyment. It was his time with Fortnite that led him to believe that he may actually have some talent playing video games after all. Once Valorant released, Steven quickly dropped Fortnite and began his grind to the top in a completely different type of game. He never had any experience with Counter-Strike: Global Offensive or Overwatch, so getting adjusted to the Valorant scene would prove to be a challenge; one he would work hard at to overcome. The feeling of working as a team and helping others to climb the ranks was something that Steven found lots of joy in, and it was what got him to fall in love with playing the game and in turn, continue to get better at it. When he’s not busy playing video games, Steven enjoys keeping active and playing sports, particularly basketball and soccer. His creativity comes through playing his Epiphone SG Standard electric guitar, which he has practiced playing for as long as he has been gaming. Steven is also a car fanatic and finds himself working on them from time to time. When he learned to drive, he saved up and purchased an old C5 Corvette that up to this day he has slowly been working on getting up and running again. Just like video games, fixing up cars is something that gives him a sense of accomplishment he thoroughly enjoys.
